Hiroshima - the sights - Tue 10 Apr

I walked along the river to the Peace Park, and spent about two hours in the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum.

It was extremely moving, horrifying at times. In particular, article after article of children's clothing and effects, partly burned away, with an inevitable story about the child's later death in the helpless care of their parents, was heartrending. A child's picture of the time:

My camera played up again when I took a picture of the Hiroshima A-Bomb Dome. The result was a little creepy. It's been playing up ever since, but it looks like digital technology isn't above responding to a little whack.
